  1. Minutes of Meeting held in Beijing, PR China, September 16, 2001
  2. Report on the 4 th Ecohydraulics Symposium, Cape Town, South Africa, March 2002 Mynett (HI-Committee) attended and contributed to the Symposium which was held during the Environmental Flows Conference; the close relationship between the hydroinformatics and ecohydraulics section was emphasised on a number of occasions. Jorde (Boise) and Duel (Delft) are new Section Team. Leclerc (past chairman) is interested to join HI-section.
  3. Impressions of the 5th Hydroinformatics Conference, Cardiff/Bristol, UK, July 2002
  4. Preparation of the 6th Hydroinformatics Conference (Singapore, June 2004) A confirmation letter was sent by the Section Chair; Liong will introduce Singapore 2004 at the Closing Ceremony on thursday. Details on Hong Kong Workshop to be elaborated.
  5. Options for the 7th Hydroinformatics Conference (Europe 2006) In view of the intention to return to Europe after Asia, options are welcomed. One suggestion in Beijing concerned Sofia Antipolis near Nice, south of France.
  6. Contributions to the XXX IAHR Congress Thessaloniki, Greece Actions need to be specified to assure proper contributions to Hydroinformatics Theme D
  7. Contributions to the Virtual Water Forum / 3rd World Water Forum, Japan 2003 During and after Beijing the HI-section has been in close communication with the IAHR Executive Director (Chris George) and the Division Head (Tamai). Actions need to be defined on how Hydroinformatics can contribute.
  8. Cross-link to ICHE Warsaw, 18-20 September 2002 Request via Cunge to report on Cardiff via keynote at ICHE
  9. Activities of the EWRI(ASCE)/IAHR Oversight Committee Joint meeting scheduled this summer in the US during the IAHR Instrumentation Conference.
  10. Issues related to the Journal of Hydroinformatics / Journal of Hydraulic Research General discussion and suggestions on content and new contributions are welcomed.
  11. Any other business Matters arising or specific topics to be addressed - ETNET follow-up - Contributions to Encyclopedia of Hydrological Sciences - Other items
