Hydroinformatics Workshop 2007

This International Workshop aims to establish state-of-the-art as well as future directions in developments of Hydroinformatics. This is an invitation based event that will bring together prestigious experts, scientists, engineers and managers to exchange ideas and experience, make critical assessment of knowledge in hydroinformatics, and identify and discuss new directions for future research.

Internationally invited papers and presentations will cover the following topics:

  • Advances in Numerical Methods and Applications (computational hydraulics, eco-hydraulics, hydrology, eco-hydrology, water quality, data assimilation, climate change impact assessment, parameter estimation and process identification).
  • Advanced Information Technologies (evolutionary algorithms, genetic programming, neural networks, fuzzy logic, wavelet analysis, geographic information systems)
  • Emergent Control Techniques and Decision Support (development and application of advanced control techniques, hybrid models based control, uncertainty analysis, decision support systems).

In addition to the invited speakers, a limited number of participants can attend the workshop. To participate please contact the Hydroinformatics Workshop (HIW07) Organizing Committee.
